Mine Warning Sign

• Standard size 25 x 25 cm (9.84 x 9.84 in), others available on request
• Lightweight with durable material
• White symbol and writing on red background, back side white
• The wording “Danger Mines” should appear in one of the six major recognized UN languages (English, French, Russian, Chinese, Arabic and Spanish) and the local language (if not one of the above mentioned ones)
• Universal symbol for danger to life “skull and crossbones” (if the symbol “skull and crossbones” is not appropriate the national mine action authority may specify another symbol)
• Holes in the upper part for easy fixing
  

The signs are intended for the secure cordoning-off of areas, buildings or vehicles where, for example, landmines, UXO or IEDs are present or suspected. They are made of a lightweight and durable material (reinforced corrugated plastic).
